“I write where I am Quiet, where healing begins before it has words.”
This blog is where I put the words I don’t always say out loud. I’m an introverted Indigenous writer, and poetry has always been the place where I can be most honest, without having to be loud, certain, or finished.
I write from stillness, from memory. From land and feelings & moments that linger longer than they should. Sometimes my poems come from reflection, sometimes from grief or softness or the simple act of being alive and paying attention. Most of the time, they come from listening to what’s stirring beneath the surface.
This space isn’t about having answers or presenting myself perfectly. It’s about showing up as I am & letting the words land where they land. Some pieces are gentle. Some are heavy. All of them are real.
If you’re someone who moves quietly through the world, who feels deeply, or who finds comfort in pauses and open space, I hope you feel welcome here. Take your time. Read slowly. Stay as long as you need.
Thank you for sharing this space with me.
